That being said, I don't think forms should have gameplay impacts, but if would have been nice if we got a couple more things themed around the 'lizardmen' aspect rather than just dragons. Sure, the lizardmen form is really really cool (especially if you've played Age of Wonders I), but since its just a form it doesn't come with the same gameplay and thematic impacts the Dragon Rule and Tomes do. That being said, I think at first glance it may not seem to offer a lot because a large part of it is purely cosmetic- the lizardmen form. I don't think Dragon Dawn looks like a bad DLC at all- I certainly think its worth $10. Im just done with this game at this point, dont care anymore. If Triumph are pushing such low-quality trash in mere months after release i dont want to deal with it anymore. Its a mod-level content, and i bet modders can do better work for free. Cuz they are as creative as the blobs this game presents. What even the point? No even new mount options or traits to make lizardmen feel interesting, to make them swim in water or even lava(salamanders), nah, i guess devs can't do anything interesting in this game. We have dragon leader, who barely change anything in gameplay loop(the extra affinity doesn't matter, even weapon choice provided more variety) with robotic shitty animations, 2 new tomes with some reskins, incompetently done terrible looking transformation(who even approved it? arent you ashamed to show it to people?) and lizardmen skin for our blobs to wear, with no actually interesting traits, no new any mechanics or depth. I am a fan of lizard/snake races in fantasy in general and was willing to give a last chance and see how Lizardmen and so much hyped "dragon leader" would be implemented but its just pathetic.
